View Full Version : 10-Alert Frequencies
Hey guys,
I was trying to find the freqs for 10-ALERT. I found 10-FIRE freqs but they don't seem to be the right ones. I programmed my scanner and have had no luck. Are there different ones for 10-ALERT or is this group still considered 10-FIRE?
I went to radioreference.com with no luck other than the 10-FIRE freqs which don't work.
Anyone know where to get the 10-ALERT freqs for SB City fire? Like to know whats going on at work when I'm at home sometimes.
Thanks!

I'll see what I can come up with for you. I'll check with our radio gurus.
10 fire is different from 10 alert.
Try 860.2500 FM for "City Fire" 10 alert.
Happy Communicating.

Can you elaborate? That seems a bit incomplete. Is that city of san bernardino 800?

Joey Mac,
Programming a scanner to receive a trunked group isn't the easiest thing to do. For the 10-Fire group make sure you go to the link below which will give you all eleven 800 mhz frequencies in the 10-Fire group. You must have all of the freqs programmed or you are destined for trouble. You then have to program the talk group code for 10-Alert which is 22896. If you don't have this programmed in your scanner then you are going to hear everything from the PD to the dog catcher and it will be very difficult to follow a call because of all the other traffic out there. Your best bet is to buy the software (if you don't have it already) and follow the directions to the letter. It should program all the right things and download it to your radio. See my other posts to Chatterbox in this forum and and that might help you out. Write me if you need something else or just to let me know if you are successful.
