Just got word yesterday from a couple of my CVcIFD friends (thats Chino Valley city Independent Fire District.... yeah, I know its long and drawn out, but so are the zeros on their paychecks) that they are Joining the A-team and going RED with all there fire apparati.
If you do not know Chino Fire, they are a bunch of great guys, but they have a couple flaws to their program. 1) Yellow fire engines (i believe the EARL SCHEIB color is "EMS yellow" or something along those lines) and b) they have to wear fanny packs... yes, fanny packs. Do not make fun of them, they get all defensive...:D
Fortunately for them, all their future engines (including engine 4 that is on the assembly line) will be Fire Engine Red!!
"going green" is so lame... go "red instead"
