When will the County pull AMR's hands out of their pockets? Why do we still hold a monopoly accountable for the region's EMS transport.

You want to hear something crazy???

Why is County Fire sending ambulances to cover Rialto? Because AMR can't provide the coverage! Why is ICEMA getting mad at the folks in the High Desert for transporting in a fire engine? Because AMR needed mutual aid from the county to cover Victorville!

They obviously can't do the job, I sure hope the County re-evaluates the 2009 renewal. It's going to take a Supervisor, a Mayor, or a councilman to die with an explanation of. "Well, AMR was late because their system was overwheled with inter facility transfers", to change their views.

Actually all it will take is the residents of this County,you, me and others to become very vocal and start causing trouble for the county board of Supervisors and ICEMA. They are our elected officials!

Get the unions involved to start putting pressure on the elected officials, document response times and let the local media know when it takes
AMR along time to get there.
Someone needs to start asking questions.

And is AMR really doing that bad throughout the county?? I dont work here, so I dont know how they perform. I just here you guys talk about them.
