Anyone from VEGAS

Hey Guys and Gals I just planned a last minute trip to Vegas for July 4th. We will be arriving the 3rd and checking out the 5th. I was wondering if anyone knows what goes on during the 4th on the strip if anything at all. Any advice that anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks....

It's Vegas, C'mom, there's always something going on. But for reals, there will be fireworks at Cashman field (triple A Dodgers) after the baseball game. A couple of the hotels out in the burbs do nice firework shows, ie; Green Valley Ranch Station & The Suncoast. Drive up to the Valley of Fire Indian reservation and buy your own (really cool & really illegal). Fremont street always has live bands outside. And the clubs at any casino is bumpn'!
For daytime adult fun check out "BARE" at the Mirage, or "Tao Beach" at the Venetian. Top less pools, It's a Niiiice!
But what ever you do, don't drink & drive.

Find a pool, get a cabana, chill for the day. If you go to Red Rock, you will have a great view of the strip for fireworks. And they have a pretty kick a$$ pool (not topless). If you want that, most places got "European" pools now, but it'll probably cost you between $20-$40 to get in. Might be worth it, might not. I say, just got to Cheetahs and enjoy!!

Thanks A lot of the info guys. I am sure Vegas will be hot and packed full of people. A cabana and the topless pool idea both sound good to me, I guess I'll have to try and do both. Thanks for the info, if your ever in L.A. and you need anything dont be afraid to ask.

Well let me start by saying, you guys run alot. Everytime I turned around I saw the medics or engine responding. I visitied Fremont Street, now I know why the call it the "Fremont Experience." Too many freaks, not enough circus... Overall Vegas was a blast although nothing special happened on the 4th I really didn't care because I was too busy partying and having a good time to notice it was even the 4th. I am ready to go back, made it in 3.5 hrs and home in 4. Thanks for all your help, anyone willing to trade a LVFD shirt for a LACoFD shirt? I didn't want to buy a fake one on the strip..... Oh yeah, it was hoooooooooooottttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As if you didn't already know that....
