This course focuses on the codes, ordinances and statues that pertain to fire prevention practices in California. Some topics of discussion include: Building construction and occupancy, evacuation procedures, inspection reports and processing plans.
YOU MUST HAVE THE IFSTA MANUAL, SIXTH EDITION:
“Fire Inspection and Code Enforcement” manual (If you took Prevention 1A thru SAC, you have the book – if not, we have them here $30.00).
DAY: Monday – Friday TIME: 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
LOCATION: 1530 W. 17th St., Santa Ana (Major cross street Bristol) Hammond Hall – 2nd floor
INSTRUCTOR: Craig Halker (retired Chief w/Long Beach FD)
COST: $140.00 (payable to “SAC”)
