CAREER DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

This is an INTENSE WORKSHOP intended for those who are serious about quality LEADERSHIP in the fire service.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
• Simulation and Presentation skills;
• An understanding of what Leadership is really about;
• Personnel Management (which provides an in depth analysis of the progressive disciplinary process in light of the Firefighter’s Bill of Rights);
• Emergency Management Simulation techniques (learning to present the maximum information, with-in the context of the Incident);
• Promotional Interview preparation;
• In-Basket events, along with a broad review of Assessment Center Dimensions, that will take the mystery out of this form of testing.
Most important, we will help you understand the paradigm of promotional testing, and how you can, and should, “prepare for the position,” so that no exam process will stand in your way of the future you seek.
