Wildland Fire Fighting Tactics
June 22 – 26, 2009
Santa Ana College Main Campus

This course contains such topics as: California’s wildland fire problem, wildland fire safety, weather effects, wildland fuels, wildland fire behaviors, initial attack methods, using support equipment, using topographic maps, strategy and tactics, and air attack operations. Involves class participation and simulation.

Designed for: Chief officers, company officers, and planners

Prerequisite: Command 2A and ICS-200 (Basic ICS)

Day: Monday – Friday Time: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Location: 1530 W. 17th St., Santa Ana (Major cross street Bristol) Hammond Hall – 2nd floor
