Captain Tomaselli was a 28 year veteran with San Bernardino County Fire. He was struck down by a stroke while responding to a fire in the Jenks Lake area of Angelus Oaks. He passed away in the hospital.

All give some. He gave all.

Remember our fallen brothers. The best we can do, is the least we can do.

I read your blog on the home page.

Great job.

Feed us some more as things you are passionate about arise.

What a disrespect to a fallen firefighter with a line of duty death. I can't believe that guy said those things.

Vance was my captain, friend and weekend duty partner. We will be having a fill-the-boot / BBQ / Rummage sale on April 20th, Sunday from 1p-3p at County Station 15. We will be celebrating his 28 years dedicated to the community and all proceeds will go to the Vance Tomaselli Fund to help the family out with the enormous medical bill. Everyone is welcome. There will be a slide show memorial during the festivities. Just bring a side dish and come show your support. We appreciate it at Station 15, Angelus Oaks.

I thought it was incredible that he managed to drive the crew to the scene despite that fact that he was suffering a stroke. He sounds like he was a good man. God bless his soul, and I thank him for his dedication and contributions to the service.

He was amazing. I had to drive the route myself. He negotiated lost of winds is the road. Someone was definitely watching over him. He was an awesome person. He's going to be missed dearly. Thank you for the support.
