The latest I hear is that Rescue Me - Season 5 has been extended and split into two parts. Season 5 and 6 will air in 2008. They began filming a couple of weeks ago. One source says the episodes will begin in May. Another source says June and ANOTHER source says Fall of 2008. The bottom line is that Season 5 will be 22 episodes. The Internet does not show anymore info and the dedicated "Rescue Me" sites just refer to the November 7th, 2007 purchase of the 22 episodes. More info regarding the TV / FX schedule will be forthcoming - just type in "Rescue Me - Season 5" in your favorite search engine and keep looking....

I think this season is starting out pretty weak. I did enjoy the banter they had back in forth in the truck last episode. I have had very similar conversations in the rig....lol
